TurboPost ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Gamikaze Scheidegger, a registered business in Switzerland (CHE-467.312.860). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the TurboPost mobile application ("App").

Information We Collect
Account Information
When you use TurboPost, we automatically create an anonymous account for you. We collect:
- Anonymous User ID: A unique identifier generated by Firebase Authentication to identify your account. We do not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifiers.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the App:
- Subscription Status: Your current plan (Free or Pro) and subscription details
- Generated Content: The captions you create using the App, including the platform preferences and language settings selected for each generation
- Generation History: Records of your caption generations to display in the History section of the App
Voice Data
- Audio Recordings: When you use the voice input feature, your audio is temporarily processed to generate text. Audio recordings are sent directly to OpenAI's API for transcription and are not stored on our servers or devices. Once processed, the audio data is immediately discarded.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- Device identifiers or hardware information
- Location data
- Contacts or calendar data
- Browsing history
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA)

Data Storage and Security
Where We Store Your Data
Your data is stored on Firebase servers located in the United States (us-central1 region). By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States.
Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained until you delete your account
- Generation History: Retained until you delete your account or individual generations
- Audio Recordings: Not retained; processed in real-time and immediately discarded
Security Measures
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)

Your Rights and Choices
Access Your Data
You can view all your generated captions in the History section of the App.
Delete Your Data
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time:
- Open the App
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion
This will permanently delete:
- Your anonymous account
- All generated captions and history
- Your subscription data (note: active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Apple)

Children's Privacy
TurboPost is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us at info@gamikaze.ch, and we will delete such information.
Users must be at least 13 years old to use TurboPost.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Switzerland, including the United States, where our service providers (Firebase, OpenAI, RevenueCat) operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than Switzerland or the European Union.
By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure that our service providers maintain appropriate safeguards to protect your information.
